The results are as terrifying. 98% of respondents were unable to correctly answer a total of 8 cryptocurrency-related questions.
“Bitcoin is tax-free” is the most obvious inconsistency with reality. And 59% of participants determined that this statement is true. ???>?
According to 44% of those surveyed, Bitcoin is at least 15 years old. And another 44% think that "there is an unlimited amount of bitcoins that can be mined indefinitely."
39% are confident that "there are less than 100 cryptocurrencies." In fact, there are 9,975 of them in the coinmarket and this number is constantly growing.
31% believe that bitcoin cannot be used to buy goods.
But what is even more surprising is that a fifth of the surveyed (22%) believe that "Bitcoin is a physical currency, just like the dollar or the Euro."
But the most important answer was given in the question of who exactly is the inventor of Bitcoin. Listen to this shit! 56% are sure that it is Elon Musk. And men (62%) are more likely to make this mistake than women (51%).
If 56% are sure that Musk is Nakamoto himself, then they will follow any advice and catch the slightest hints of the great False Satoshi.
