The US government is NOT requiring you to report:
= Any purchase you made with US currency to buy crypto
= Any crypto u recieved as a gift
The US government is requiring you to report:
= Any & All trades between different crypto
= Any sales of crypto that u sold off (including if u made a profit or took a loss from the sale)
