How uncertain do you think the future of crypto will be?

It has often been said that crypto has a volatile and uncertain future. But even amidst the uncertainty, it can be categorised into four types: A) a clear enough future, B) alternate futures, C) a range of futures and D) true ambiguity.

As a result of the crypto contagion last year, most people seem prepared for more governmental legislation and regulation, regardless of whether they like it or not. And regulators around the world have made moves. The US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) plans to sue Paxos over its BINANCE USD stablecoin as it alleges that it is an unregistered security. Meanwhile, Kraken has already agreed to shut down its staking service and pay SEC $30 million dollars. In other news, on February 4, the Australian Treasury released a consultation paper on its 'token mapping' exercise, complete with a period of one month for interested parties to submit their recommendations. The UK was not to be outdone as HM Treasury recently published a 80-page consultation paper for crypto regulation.

Keeping all these developments in mind, how uncertain do you think the future of crypto will be? And how does this perceived uncertainty translate into your DCA strategy?
