Former FTX executive Ryan Salame’s home was searched as part of a federal investigation into the cryptocurrency exchange’s collapse.
The FBI carried out a search warrant at Salame’s Maryland home Thursday morning, according to people familiar with the case. The search was part of the sweeping investigation into FTX’s demise by Manhattan federal prosecutors, who have charged the exchange’s co-founder Sam Bankman-Fried with orchestrating a multi-billion dollar fraud.
