Foreigners & the United States & Crypto

In my previous article

The Crypto Market Post XRP there was a commenter who made a comment in Vietnamese. Curious, I translated it. Here's what came out:

During the covid19 period, the XRP currency was devalued because the United States was so badly damaged, people and possessions were on the verge of destruction, would we still see the same America. You should keep XRP or sell it. The article is very good, thanks for your writing, but I noticed that you are a bit deeply critical of America. The poor can get rich in the future, but class is forever, knowledge will decide a lot for the future generations. America has those things. I believe they will restore the economy when the epidemic stops. I would buy XRL when the price gets the lowest.

I can't tell you how much facepalm I felt after reading this. I should have left the comment in Vietnamese. What I saw here is the exact reason that crypto will eventually fail — because the rest of the world still looks to the US as some sort of savior, when all the US cares about is dominance. Crypto could save you, but it won't, because you won't let it.

Why do so many of you Asians look up to Western Whites when all they've done is bomb you back to the Stone Age, try to steal your opium and disrespect your labor force? Very curious behavior. If I tried to talk about every reason this commenter is an idiot, I'd be here all day. I'll try to stick to a few points.

1. Just Dead Wrong About XRP

During the covid19 period, the XRP currency was devalued because the United States was so badly damaged, people and possessions were on the verge of destruction, would we still see the same America. You should keep XRP or sell it.

XRP's failure had zero to do with COVID or the US being "so badly damaged". That doesn't even make any sense. XRP failed because it was made to be a pump and dump that didn't ask permission from the government to dump first.

If you can't tell the difference between a legitimate project and a scam, then you won't do well in America. People will take advantage of you, but you'll gladly accept it because your day-to-day suffering has been reduced slightly. This is also very curious behavior. I guess it's a difference in culture. I'll live in my own little house than in someone else's big house any day. Ironically, that attitude is the first step towards getting your own big house.

2. Just Dead Wrong About America

The article is very good, thanks for your writing, but I noticed that you are a bit deeply critical of America. The poor can get rich in the future, but class is forever, knowledge will decide a lot for the future generations. America has those things.

I know foreigners still see America as a land of milk and honey. America has a quadrillion dollar marketing machine that completely masks its truth. The truth is that half of Americans live below the poverty line. I've traveled the world — I realize that "below the poverty line" for Americans is middle-class for much of the world. And because our poverty line is your middle class, you're more than willing to become government stooges for a slightly bigger house. Clean your own home.

Americans have something (a very little something compared to the world) because we're willing to challenge our government, not capitulate to it. Americans have a pride that demands we fight government when they try to take our shit. You need to learn the same thing and stop running from yours. Vietnam could be just as great as America if you fight for it.

3. Just Dead Wrong About Economics

The poor can get rich in the future, but class is forever, knowledge will decide a lot for the future generations. America has those things. I believe they will restore the economy when the epidemic stops. I would buy XRL when the price gets the lowest.

This 1950's propaganda about America being the number one place to improve your class needs to stop. America is 17th on the Index of Economic Freedom, a list started by AMERICAN COMPANIES. So they have every reason to lie, but the US is still only number 17. The top two places are in Asia! More Western worship, I guess. I don't know.

As for the American economy, it's running along just fine on Vietnamese fumes. The Federal Reserve prints endless amounts of money for the US because the US is the world's reserve currency. The US economy doesn't stop for a pandemic — that's just a few hillbillies complaining. But it's a false economy built on your backs, because Vietnamese feel the negative effects of American quantitative easing more than Americans do. That's another whole post (really a book), but just understand this. If you think "America has those things" because of some exceptionalism, you're actively killing your own family. That's the truth.

If you buy XRL (XRP) "when the price gets the lowest," I hope you view it as a short term trade. That company is garbage, and there are countless other projects in crypto that don't create so much risk for you. I encourage you to look beyond the surface in economics and politics. If you believe what the marketers tell you, then you get what the marketers sell you — dreams and air. The truly rich people understand that you don't get rich digging for gold during a gold rush. You get rich selling shovels.

Learning crypto and discovering sovereignty and taking responsibility for your own shit can give you everything you thought the American dream could provide. Yet you choose to believe the PR the US puts out about white picket fences, 2.5 children and the dog. This is propaganda that will eventually kill your culture and then you — just like XRPs propaganda left people holding bags in 2017 and now again in 2020. Don't go broke listening to cheaters and scammers. Fight for your own sovereignty and believe in your own power. Then come to the global table of friendship and negotiation as an equal, not a beggar.
