"Have you ever seen a starving baby, the sight alone will either make you numb or crazy" That's a quote from a song of mine. The whole concept of being a fly bird in a caged city might not resonate with a lot of people. I was born and raised in Zambia a 3rd World nation in oder to explain the meaning behind the title I'd have to break it down into 2 parts the first being

1.Fly Birds

When I talk about fly birds I mean to talk about all the little kids and youth that have unmatched potential in the Africa. They have all the gifts ,brains and skills to make something better of their lives. I remember one time I was deep in the slams of Kafue when i met two little boys who where literally drinking themselves to death I mean these where about 8 or 9 year olds drinking some hard cheap liquor that cost $0.50 I couldn't pretend it was all good you know,I mean yeah you see some pretty grafic things growing up in Zambia but this I had to do something about so approached these boys and asked them why on earth they would result to destroying themselves at such a young age. One of them looked me straight in my eyes and said to me. "Bakamba musati onelemo ba mai ni ba Hoole ba daddy niba junky, so apa tisakila ko gona ndaba munthu sanga gone normal" in plain translation these means "sir, don't look down on us , our mothers are whores and our fathers are junky ,right now we looking for a place to sleep cause it's hard to sleep in the streets sober" these words really touched me as I looked back into this kids intoxicated eyes. What response was I going to give? Deep down I wished I could do something about their situation but I too was also going through a hell of my own. I could tell that these boys where just another story of some unfortunate kids from Africa. But looking in these kids eyes I didn't see weakness but hope. His eyes where beaming with intellect and street wise.i have never felt so helpless in my life. Sometimes I walk through the slams and see the very same story repeating itself into the masses, babies having babies, mothers taking drugs in the filthiest drinking spots with infants on their backs, innocent people convicted of crimes spending years behind bars because they can't afford lawyers, patients loosing their lives in hospitals and clinics . So many injustices go unanswered In our communities. Girls being raped by The same people they stay with, living conditions and health care is just pathetic if you ask me. How many innocent men, women and children die everyday in Africa purely because of negligence I honestly can't count Hospitals and clinics be running out of medicine and machinery. And the world wonders why Africans still resort to more traditional remedies while the world continues to keep its spotlight on America and the so called world powers. Who will speak out for our people who continue to suffer and die because of ignorance. I have a cousin from the village who used to tell me about how he had to walk almost 5 kilometres to school without books or shoes only to attend class under a tree.i mean w.t.h right and regardless of that he still managed to graduate high school with flying colours. It breaks my heart when I think about how many talented and educated people are in Africa who continue to live life by the wire. It made me think that even though I was born in such a cage of a society I would still find a way out and hopefully show as many Africans the way out of poverty.i remember all I ever wanted was to be recognised as one of the greatest Songwriter, Singer and Rapper that world has ever known, I would put in and still do hours and hours and hours of work into my craft as a rapper and singer writing and filling up books and books with songs that I thought deserved world recognition. But I couldn't help but get depressed with the fact that I was born in Zambia and my chances of actually getting a real shot at my dreams was close to zero. I'd have to create a solid plan which I could work with. After flunking out of University and dropping out of college I was finally able to stand up to my sponsors and tell them straight what I wanted to do with my life,So I crawled and hustled.

  1. Caged Country

When I talk about a Caged Country I refer to the barriers, institutions and systems that where placed intentionally to keep people like myself and many more Africans away from a life of financial freedom. For hundreds of years black people were forced remain slaves to the white man, over the past hundred or so years a lot of African countries gained independence from colonial rule, At least that's what we were told. If you ask me I would tell you many African countries Zambia included are yet to gain rea freedom from the outsiders. I think all they did was create a transition from physical slavery to economic slavery making a change from physical to mental chains. Erasing our core values ,culture and history all at the same time.i mean seriously this group of people whoever they are went to a great extent to mess with our heads. Looking at the education system everything we where taught in our schools , television and popular culture it's almost like it was all planned out strategically by a very elite group of people.we were taught the history of America and many of the world powers while our own was convinently pushed aside wiped away from every book. When I look at America and how bad black people are treated through racism it makes me realise just how deep the hate that racist people have for us. For you to shoot down a teenager just because of his skin colour really buffles me.i can't imagine just how much hate a man must carry to be able to do something so evil, with the emergence of the black lives matter movement I can see just how far from freedom we really are, sometimes I wonder if all those black people where to come back home with all there investment cash If we would begin to see real change. When I first started out trying to make money online it was really an uphill battle. I ran into endless scams and most of the legit platforms where you could make a decent living where always not available in Zambia. I would find a programme with a great payout only to find out that I can access the site because am in Zambia. In fact till this day the number of major companies online have multiple restrictions for people in the 3rd World. Why ? I have no idea to be honest maybe it's politics or economics it beats me. Until I dicovered crypto currency and the power of blockchain technology. Something that knows no color ,race or ethnicity .it's ability to be readily accessed no matter where you are in the world and the best of all its based of peers to peers transaction with no banks or shady middle men in between you and your hard earned money. I believe crypto can free Africa even though it still has a long way to go in terms of user friendlibility. What do you think ,will crypto free Africa from its economic bondage?
