It's good to be the King!
Not many topics are left to be covered to complete this overview I started to write on Serfdom&Sorcery, since we have now seen, in order, how to:
- take your first steps
- choose up a job
- increase our level
- withdraw and deposit DBLNs
- stake DBLNs
I mean, we're definitely well on our way now, and I'd say we're about 2/3 topics away from being done, starting with today's topic, which is what are the best purchases to make when starting to play
The Must Buys
Because if we don't reinvest at least part of what we earn, our progress will be really slow and we risk being left shoveling muck for the rest of our days...
That's why right from the start it's useful to figure out which are the most useful upgrades to buy so that we can increase our income and get to the next upgrade faster.
So, granted that depending on the chosen class and/or your game strategy certain things may be more or less useful, in my experience the purchases each player should aim for - especially at the beginning - are:
!buyraven(46000 DBLN each);- 10 cows
!buybestiary!buycow(50000 DBLN one-off + 7500 DBLN per cow).
The total cost of all these animals amounts to 217000 DBLN, which at current value corresponds to about 50 Hive.
Reaching this amount just by playing certainly takes quite a bit of time, but the positive aspects are that it is possible to proceed to buy the single animals individually and that no minimum level is required to buy crows (whereas for cows you need to be at least level 20).
To provide a comparison, with my second account - on which I have just started playing - I have accrued almost 11,000 DBLN in about 10 days of play, so with a little patience, it is certainly possible to get to the purchase of the first raven without investing a single penny and, from there on, reaching the second raven will be much quicker.
With two ravens, it becomes much easier to accumulate healing potions and, as a result, it is possible to defeat more monsters to level up: as the level increases, the DBLN gained increases, thus reducing more and more the time needed to purchase the next upgrade.
Once you've reached level 20 and completed the purchase of the crows and cows, the next goal I recommend you set for yourself is to reach level 25 and choose the profession of Healer, thus adding another excellent source of income to your arsenal.
And Afterwards?
After that, in my opinion, it's worth aiming to have 300000 staked DBLN: it's another important goal, which will take time, but the 5 huge potions you'll receive this way every day will be essential to defeat the increasingly strong monsters you'll come across, allowing you to continue to level up and increase your rank steadily.

E' bello essere il Re!
Non sono molti gli argomenti che mancano da trattare per completare questa panoramica che ho iniziato a scrivere su Serdom&Sorcery, dato che ormai abbiamo visto, nell'ordine, come:
- muovere i primi passi
- intraprendere una professione
- aumentare il proprio livello
- prelevare e depositare DBLN
- fare lo staking dei DBLN
Insomma, ormai siamo decisamente a buon punto e direi che, grossomodo, mancheranno 2/3 argomenti da trattare, a cominciare da quello di oggi, ossia quali siano i migliori acquisti da fare quando si inizia a giocare!
I Must Buy
Perche se non reinvestiamo almeno parte di cio che guadagniamo, i nostri progressi saranno davvero lenti e rischiamo di restare a spalare letame per il resto dei nostri giorni...
Per questo sin dall'inizio e utile cercare di capire quali siano i potenziamenti piu utili da acquistare, cosi da aumentare i nostri introiti e poter arrivare piu velocemente all'upgrade successivo.
Quindi, premesso che a seconda della classe scelta e/o della propria strategia di gioco certe cose possono risultare piu o meno utili, secondo la mia esperienza gli acquisti a cui ciascun giocatore dovrebbe puntare - soprattutto all'inizio - sono:
!buyraven(46000 DBLN ciascuno);- 10 mucche
!buybestiary!buycow(50000 DBLN una tantum + 7500 DBLN a mucca).
Il costo complessivo di tutti questi animali ammonta a 217000 DBLN, che al valore attuale corrispondono a circa 50 Hive.
Raggiungere detto importo soltanto giocando richiede sicuramente un bel po' di tempo, ma gli aspetti positivi sono che e possibile procedere ad acquistare i singoli animali singolarmente e che per acquistare i corvi non e richiesto alcun livello minimo (mentre per le mucche bisogna essere almeno al livello 20).
Per fornire un metro di paragone, con il mio secondo account - sul quale ho appena iniziato a giocare - in circa 10 giorni di gioco ho accumulato quasi 11000 DBLN, per cui, con un po' di pazienza, e sicuramente possibile arrivare all'acquisto del primo corvo senza investire un singolo centesimo e, da li in poi, raggiungere il secondo corvo sara molto piu veloce.
Con due corvi accumulare pozioni curative diventa molto piu semplice e, di conseguenza, e possibile sconfiggere piu mostri per salire di livello: all'aumentare del livello aumentano i DBLN guadagnati, riducendo cosi sempre piu il tempo necessario per effettuare l'acquisto del potenziamento successivo.
Una volta raggiunto il livello 20 e completato l'acquisto dei corvi e delle mucche, l'obiettivo successivo che vi consiglio di porvi e quello di arrivare al livello 25 e scegliere la professione di Guaritore, cosi da aggiungere una ulteriore ottima fonte di guadagno al vostro arsenale.
Dopo, secondo me, vale la pena puntare ad avere 300000 DBLN in stake: e un altro traguardo importante, che richiedera tempo, ma le 5 pozioni enormi che riceverete cosi ogni giorno saranno fondamentali per sconfiggere i mostri sempre piu forti che vi troverete davanti, consentendovi di continuare a livellare ed aumentare il vostro rank in maniera costante.
