The Green Bay Packers stand on top of the table in the North division of the National Football Conference. Aaron Rodgers from Packers leads the scoring table in the same.

There held a game between the Green Bay Packers and Detroit Lions. According to the previous stats, it was seen that neither of the teams was at its best. But at the end of the third quarter, the audience were completely thrilled because the match seemed to have gone against the Packers.

The game remained unchanged until the half of the fourth quarter. Here is when the Detroits began to waste the scoring opportunities, getting into the red zone a couple of times awarding penalties to the Green Bay Packers.

Initially, in the first quarter, several mistakes were also committed by the Packers but these didn’t cost them any penalties. Later when the scores were 13-22 in the favor of Detroits, Aaron Rodgers was leading the downfield for Packers in the final minutes. He completed 24 out of 39 passes for 283 yards and two touchdowns.

The game changed completely in the final quarter when Flowers was called for two penalties for the illegal use of hand on the face mask- these, in turn, led to Green Bay touchdowns. According to the replays he appeared to grab the shoulder pads and not the face mask. The Packers might not have pulled it off if not for two penalties for illegal hands to the face, the second of which allowed Green Bay to run the clock down to 2 seconds before Crosby’s game-winner kick.

The final scores before the penalty were 22-20 in favor of the Lions, but the kick by Crosby got them 3 points after which the final whistle was blown making the Packers win with a close call.
