PornVisory, a crypto porn start-up, has decided to migrate to a decentralized flexible organization (DFO) system.
According to the start-up, its new governance structure is better than the standard decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) system. With DFO, users will have more control of the growth of the token. They can participate in the governance of the token through voting for policies and proposing for changes.
The governance system is restricted. Users can gain access only through PornVisory’s PVY Ethereum-based token. At the moment, the start-up is yet to launch its first airdrop of PVY token.
According to Veronica Noschese, a co-founder at PornVisory, both DFO and DAO are similar. However, while DAO only allows users to make changes to some aspects of the application, DFO lets users make more changes to the application.
Specifically, Noschese explained, DAO users can only make parameter changes in configuration. But due to its modular design, DFO users can change lines of code without risking the integrity of the entire application.
Decentralization has been the driving force for not just the company but for the crypto industry as a whole. Noschese believes users want more control and that is why her company ventured into the blockchain market.
As a reward system, PornVisory said its users will receive free redeemable tokens the more they consume the platform’s content.
