Many individuals who are interested in crypto are probably wondering about the answer to three essential questions: (1) Where Did Crypto Come From? (2) What is Happening to Crypto Right Now? (3) What is Crypto's Part in the Current Global Situation? Everyone has their own take on the crypto scenario, but here is a long story from one of my friends that could shed some light on the current crypto market. This was a challenging piece to make because of its highly subjective stance on a lot of ideas and concepts, but here it is for your entertainment!

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

Imagine a planet called Komos. In this planet, there are four major countries - Polemos, Paralogos, Epicheirisi, and Filosofia. Polemos had long been a source of worry for the smaller countries around the planet. They were the world's largest and most economically powerful military state. They constantly spent a large portion of their budget on mercenary soldiers to cause conflict under the guise of freedom, democracy, or just because they wanted to (just like an arrogant bully). But, their underlying reasons for conflict were always the same (1) to underhandedly attempt to do a regime change and obtain the resources of other smaller countries and (2) to coerce his allies to help him achieve his objectives. Nearly all of Polemos's allies were nation-states in the country of Paralogos.

If a country did not follow along with Polemos's plans, he would create a random conflict around the world and ask for the military assistance of his allies. As we all know, any kind of endeavor like this requires lots of money and resources. This negatively impacts the economies of his allies. Polemos would just keep doing this until all of his allies just 'gave up' and submitted to his demands. And usually, his demand was simple - give him 25% of your GDP every year. You might be thinking, "What an absurd demand! Why couldn't his allies separate from him"? Good question!

It's because both Polemos and Paralogos had committed so many dreadful deeds and atrocities around the world throughout hundreds of years that if Paralogos separated and decided to trade regularly, a lot of countries would ask for reparations before they would even consider accepting any kind of trade deal. Given that they had done some horrendous acts in so many countries, paying reparations was out of the question. So, basically, they were stuck to Polemos because, without that kind of unity, they would just wither in the dust. No one in their right mind would want to do business with them. It was secretly in the blood of Paralogos's citizens to invade, conquer, and colonize. It was how they survived for thousands of years. That was their heritage. So there was really nothing they could do to change. The only reason why Paralogos was reluctant to do a lot more atrocities was that there was now something called an International Murder Court (IMC), the United Law-Abiding Trade Union (ULATU), and of course two other world superpowers that kept everything in balance - Epicheirisi and Filosofia.

One day, all the nation-states in Paralogos unanimously decided that they had enough of paying Polemos 25% of their GDP. They claimed that they had helped Polemos through the thick and thin and had paid them a hundred-folds for their help (through their regular 25% payments). They emphasized that they were still allies with Polemos, but they just didn't want to pay the racquet money anymore. The leaders of Polemos were totally calm about the issue and didn't comment on Paralogos's decision.

Within a few years, Polemos created a slew of international conflicts ranging from trade disagreements, territorial disputes, and conflicting national interests. During each of these conflicts, Polemos demanded payment from the countries in Paralogos for "protecting" them from the nations that were involved in the dispute. Paralogos tried complaining that it was Polemos that created the conflict, but the (Polemos-controlled) world media censored it. This happened so often that it had become a norm for everyone living on that planet. All individuals didn't really care because the primary objective in life was to pay their next set of bills.

With this kind of dysfunctional relationship, you probably could guess that things were going to get a bit wild (sooner or later). Polemos couldn't help himself, but invade other nations in order to take their resources AND create a pathway to invade the other large nations in the future. The nations that Polemos was especially furious about were Epicheirisi and Filosofia. These two nations had recently allied with each other because they knew that if one of them was invaded by Polemos, the other one would be next. Now, you might be thinking, what was so special about Epicheirisi and Filosofia. The key lies in their people. The governments of both nations focused on designing systems that offered much better social, economic, and welfare benefits for their people when compared to Polemos and Paralogos.

This is because their infrastructure was designed so that all of the physical and financial contributions of the people over many years would be used to their optimal extent to create businesses and services where ALL of the people could receive pay that covers their expenses with "extra" so that they could have a significant amount of savings every year. The valuation of their currencies would be controlled to the extent that the standard of living was always high (i.e. five years of pay could pay off an entire house). On top of this, there was a poverty reduction program that aimed at, not only providing financial help, but educating the impoverished to get a profession and manage both fixed and liquid assets. In the end, they would be given the option to work in a trade, manage a parcel of land, or create their own business that would give back to the community. Since education was the center point of all growth in their country, they continually improved the design of their educational systems so that when a student graduated from university, they knew exactly what was expected of them, how to perform their job duties with precision, and how to resolve issues in the workplace. Their mental aptitude tests were also designed such that a student would be placed in the field of work that they would be most comfortable doing. For example, if they were great in math and logic puzzles, they could be placed in a group that was trained to be expert programmers. Wouldn't you be happier if you were placed in a job that was super easy for you to do (because it matched your natural talents) and was paid highly for it?

In comparison, Polemos provided a weak public education to their citizens to the extent that they could only work at entry-level jobs in the service sector. The system did not consistently teach and exercise strong discipline, logic, reasoning, and communication skills. Thus, any student who was strong enough to study for a higher profession would come out so inferior because of the difficulties they experienced that they would be willing to accept any job even if it paid wages that were significantly lower than the international wage standard for their profession. So for the upper and lower strata of the job world, no one would be interested in working abroad for fear that their professional capabilities would not meet the 'grade' or standards that were expected of them. Only the upper-middle class and wealthy families had the financial opportunity to send their children to private schools and universities which essentially gave them better opportunities for top-tier positions. On top of this, Polemos piled a plethora of taxes and fees on the poor which were only aimed at one goal - increasing the wealth and power of businesses owned by the ultra-rich. Polemos always manipulated the census data, but in reality, over 70 percent of the population was below the poverty level.

Paralogos, on the other hand, survived on the back of Polemos. The wealth of all the nation-states was gained from the robbing and pillaging endeavors of the mighty military of Polemos. The only difference between Paralogos and Polemos was that Paralogos actually distributed the 'loot' money equally throughout all sectors of society so that nearly all of their people had a decent lifestyle above the poverty income level.

For Polemos and Paralogos, any nation or nation-state that experienced anything better than them should be destroyed. Why? Because sooner or later the people in those nations would travel (as tourists) and eventually influence the people in Polemos and Paralogos that their governments could do better to help their people. And the Big Five (i.e., the ultra-wealthy families who controlled Polemos and Paralogos) did not like that idea as it would inspire riots and uprisings which would greatly reduce their ability to steal or make massive underhanded profits and business deals if their plans were laid bare to the public. And they were also naturally racist to people from Epicheirisi and Filosofia. So, sending NGOs, trolls, propagandists, bribers, and trying out sanctioning tactics were just various ways they would try to prod these nations into submission just to support their superiority mindset.

So, "where is this all going", you might say. Another great question! Now that we have gone through a brief introduction in the backstory, we can look at the idea of 'crypto' being applied to that hypothetical planet. During all of the military endeavors of Polemos, his total debt had been rising by about 20 trillion PCUs (Polemos Currency Units) for every major conflict. The only major source of income for Polemos had been the 25% GDP racquet money that they had earned from Paralogos. And since Paralogos did not want to pay 25% of their GDP to Polemos, the debt just kept rising like a rocket going to the moon. No other country on the planet of Komos had a debt like Polemos. The KIFO (Komos International Fund Organization) had issued a warning statement to Polemos that their credit rating would have to be degraded because of their uncontrolled debt crisis. KIFO was a puppet of Polemos, but the deep debt couldn't be hidden any longer.

Prominent lawmakers and businessmen in Polemos had to think of a solution - QUICK! A group of advisors was collected in a room and came up with the brilliant idea of a new way to make payment systems faster while being able to collect fees much more efficiently. Thus, the 'Cubechain' was invented along with the concept of Creeptocurrency. It's the currency that quietly and gradually comes in and somehow makes everything better (or more confusing depending on which way you look at it). Various opportunities were created inside the Creepto realm where investors could place their money in DMGs (decentralized money groups), trade their creeptos for other creepy coins, or get into interest-bearing borrowing/loan programs.

LOTS OF FUNNY BUSINESS

In principle the idea of Creepto was great! It allows people and businesses to flawlessly transact various currencies in a highly efficient, secure, and permissionless way. Transaction and media-based data stored on the Cubechain would be verified by Diggers and Endorsers who would get a reward for each Cube that was verified or created on the chain. If it sounds great, that's because it is. The problem was not in how it worked, but where it was applied.

Polemos and Epicheirisi had two very different ideas for using the idea of the Cubechain. Polemos figured that during the very inception of this wonderful idea, it would create dozens upon dozens of alluring rabbit holes (aka. real-looking, fake opportunities) where the hapless investors would fall into and get their hard-earned savings sucked out of them. For example, it would create many DMGs that claimed to grow investors' creepto-assets at an astounding pace (through insane APY gains) - which it did for a while...until they took all of the investor's money by selling all of the creepto assets within the DMG treasury vaults.  This basically wiped out any value that the coin had, leaving investors hanging with a 'near-worthless' bag of creepto coins. Polemos would also create some legit creepto investment opportunities that the public investors had no clue about beforehand (i.e. only the select few private - wealthy - investors had a sneak peek at these kinds of things).

Epicheirisi was mainly focused on providing equal prosperity for its citizens. This meant that all of its citizens had the knowledge and the opportunity to invest in the Epic-Coin, the nationalized creepto standard of payment, at an early stage. Therefore, when Epic-Coin grows, the whole nation's assets grow along with it - leading to more buying power and commerce between its citizens and local businesses. Epicheirisi also formed great trade relationships with other small and large nation-states where both sides profited (equally) from the trade. In comparison, Polemos's only trade tactic was to point a gun at their trading partner and ask for nearly all the trading leverage (and profits), goods, and money in exchange for nothing in return.

Both Polemos and Epicheirisi had the technology to support their own Cubechains. The only major difference was that Epicheirisi had a more robust and more developed infrastructure of networks, satellites, and tech management firms to advance their Cubechain to new heights, using faster 5G and 6G internet speeds. Polemos really did not like this idea because they could not implement their own deceitful Cubechain in Epicheirisi nor could they snoop into their networks because of their higher speed online security systems. Polemos tried all they could to sanction Epicheirisi and ban all 5/6G tech by that country. But, they didn't want to sanction her too much. Do you know why? Polemos lacked the manufacturing power that Epicheirisi had. Thus, many of the products that Polemos sold to his citizens were "Made in Epicheirisi". Besides, Polemos's business dealings only represented less than 10% of Epicheirisi's total GDP. Polemos wanted to look strong in the world so he sanctioned Epicheirisi and announced to the small countries, "See how strong I am. Yeah, now give me more of your money and your resources...or else".

There were also other things that Polemos had to worry about like the rapidly expanding economy of Epicheirisi that was about to leave Polemos in the dust. To slow down this inevitable fate, they magically invented a special biological weapon called the Pseftiko Alla Thanatiforo (PAT) virus which they secretly released to the citizens of Epicheirisi under the guise that the virus was an animal-born disease that was spread through human contact. This virus caused thousands of deaths in Epicheirisi which prompted health authorities to investigate the cause. It was soon found out that Polemos had created a bio-lab in Epicheirisi years ago that was supposed to research the prevention of pandemics - but instead, they used the facility to invent and spread the PAT virus. Polemos, with its powerful international media control, decided to censor any findings from Epicheirisi in their own country. But, Epicheirisi already knew about this and called upon international health authorities to endorse their findings so that their claims couldn't just be dismissed as heresy.

Nevertheless, Polemos decided to escalate the situation and called upon all of his allies to go into a non-uniform lockdown - requiring everyone to wear face masks. During this time, any country that was the 'enemy' of Polemos got hit hard with the PAT virus. And anyone who said that the virus was fake and part of the political & economic warfare of Polemos also got the PAT virus. Meanwhile, Polemos, who couldn't just stop being a racist, murderous, rascal, decided to create a separate conflict in the Paralogos nation-state of Marioneta (which was near the border of Filosophia) by providing weapons and installing a puppet leader who would lead his people to attack Filosophia. Keep in mind that Filosophia was much larger and had way more advanced weaponry than anyone else on the planet.

Filosophia could see the risk that Polemos posed. If Polemos (and his crony, Paralogos) were allowed to place weapons on the border of Marioneta, that would place a significant risk to his own citizens. So, in response, they did what any nation would do - protect their citizens from any threats by preparing their soldiers and weapons near the border. They also stated that a previously signed agreement (Called the Pragmatikos Agreement) had been made between Paralogos and Filosophia that no foreign weapons should be placed in Marioneta. And yet, here they were, Polemos and Paralogos going merry placing mercenaries, trolls, weapons, and random propagandist dudes in Marioneta.

After the warnings and requests of Filosophia were not heeded by Polemos and his cronies, Filosophia decided to 'step in' and ONLY eliminate the foreign weapons and implements of Polemos and Paralogos. As soon as he did this, Filosophia was labeled as a warmonger by the Polemos Puppet Media (PPM), all of his foreign assets were frozen, and he was sanctioned by Polemos and their cronies. At one point, the high officials of Paralogos suddenly ordered Filosophia to stop their natural gas supplies to Paralogos. As soon as Filosophia complied with the legal order, Paralogos exclaimed, "See what Filo did! See what he did! He stopped critical natural gas supplies to us! What a bad, bad boy!"

Polemos and Paralogos even implied that they were preparing their weapons to battle with Filosophia in support of Marioneta. However, this was a double-edged statement, because while they said this, they were taking all of their secret 'influencer' men from Marioneta and abandoning all business ties with that nation-state - just like an expert betrayer would do. Whenever, Filosophia would say that they had no qualms going for a nuclear conflict, Polemos and his cronies always whittled down and said that their interest was not in a nuclear fight.

So, "what was their intention with all this conflict and confusion", you might ask. Ah, good question! The actions of Polemos and his cronies were actually a multi-pronged plan which consisted of these elements: (1) Escalate the conflict in Marioneta to the point where Paralogos would 'give in' and pay 25% of their GDP, (2) Further develop the Creepto platforms and support it with 'regulations' so that when the conflict ends, no one could question the new payment system, and (3) Slowly hide the fact that the PAT virus was not a global pandemic and only meant to harm its innocent enemies like Filosophia, Epicheirisi, and any other smaller nation-state that tried to defy Polemos. It was also meant to disrupt and take all the 'glitter' away from the Winter Olympics of Epicheirisi (4) Slowly hide the fact that the PAT virus vaccine was meant to cull a portion of the population of Polemos who were going to receive more pension benefits (5) Hide the fact that Polemos was actually paying dearly for their bio-weapon atrocities in Epicheirisi (i.e., Epicheirisi hit back Polemos by saying that they couldn't trade fully with Polemos because the PAT virus hit all their cities and towns which meant that they had to close all of Polemos's international businesses there as part of the lockdown. Given that Polemos relied heavily on the industrial and commercial products of Epicheirisi, they were in for a big problem).

WHAT DOES THIS ALL MEAN?

One of the great thinkers in the land of Paralogos said that creepto is here to stay for several major reasons. First, the advancement of payment systems in Epicheirisi would require Polemos to "match" the Cubechain requirements of that country so that they could maintain trade and monetary dealings with that country. Second, it would be an easier way for Polemos to track transactions and "find" money even faster (in hidden ways - like "confiscating" creeptos owned by drug dealers). What a convenience! And third, creeptos would allow them to pay and settle their cross-border debts much faster. From an overall perspective, creeptos would provide an extra avenue for currency-based investments around the world.
