Quick overview: Ripple in Hong Kong, Bitcoin Conference Kickoff, and $PEPE overtake Conference in Miami

It's interesting to note that Ripple, an American company with excellent product's in technology and innovation in the cryptocurrency field, is gaining recognition outside of the United States. The company has been invited to participate in an international event to showcase a real estate tokenization solution in the pilot program e-HKD by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority.

Ripple will inaugurate this symposium organized by the Hong Kong authority and demonstrate in practice how a tokenization solution can bring benefits. The tokenization of real estate assets that the company will present in Hong Kong is a relatively new concept but is quickly gaining prominence in the world of finance. This innovative approach allows for the transformation of physical properties, such as real estate, into digital assets represented by tokens on the blockchain.

These tokens can be traded and transferred more efficiently, providing greater liquidity and access to a larger number of investors.

Interestingly, Ripple, being an American company, has gained prominence outside of the United States, largely due to the regulator that has been engaged in a legal battle with the cryptocurrency company for years. The regulator claims that Ripple and its executives traded XRP without registration and disclosed risk information to users. It's pure political grandstanding by the agency, considering they have shown time and time again that they couldn't care less about the cryptocurrency industry, as evident in their response to the COINBASE case, where they state, "perhaps we can create clear laws for the cryptocurrency industry, but we are not in hurry!"

For God's sake, what does this response mean? Know that the ones losing out won't be the companies, but rather the American government itself, which, due to tasteless antics, is allowing the cryptocurrency industry to migrate to locations with clear market regulations, and these companies will pay taxes in those places, helping to strengthen the economies of those nations. Not to mention that countries with clear laws are embracing a rising, innovative market.

The cryptocurrency industry is here to stay!

The Bitcoin 2023 conference has begun, but with an unexpected guest causing a stir: the PEPE frog meme token!

That's right, the annual Bitcoin conference, which takes place every year, kicked off in Miami, where discussions on cryptocurrency and other topics will be held. The conference brings together people from all over the world and features projects within the crypto ecosystem. The biggest surprise this time around is undoubtedly the $PEPE frog meme token.

Indeed, the PEPE meme token made its presence felt at the Bitcoin conference and, thanks to its audacity, managed to overshadow the main theme of the event with a mural dedicated to the project created by Spanish artist Simo.

While Saylor and his colleagues discuss and talk about BRC-20, ordinal inscriptions, and a series of societal issues that affect both the crypto space and the traditional world, the gigantic artwork by Simo, inspired by Picasso, captures the attention of conference-goers in Miami. It's safe to say that PEPE doesn't want to leave the minds of the cryptonauts.
