Crime' s fear for crypto: reality or thoughts?
Despite politicians, and lawyers steadily talk about crypto use fuelling the risk of dirty affairs, and criminality, the growth of cryptos is, today, a process with no limits and borders.
At the same time, however, the world of Crimes rises, and embraces new technological aspects: the classic view of money bribery, as manual activity, is lessening and techno crime takes place.
The fear of politics, about crypto use, is tied to payment methods on the Deep Web for illegal matters, wares and 'services'. So, the techno currency should be resulting as fascinating for anonymous movements and dirty deals. But reality cannot stop the process on the way: politics can have good talking, with the support of lawyers, but 'old' currencies and money are not able to obscurate the freedom and power of crypto, especially remembering years of money corruption.
Years ago, but not so far from us, even ISIS fell into the power of crypto use, financing terrorism and religious disputes. The use, especially of Bitcoin, took place of cash!
Discussions are always on the front page, especially for news emphasizing the activity of criminals and money launders. It is clear, today, that a good deal must be found for the clean and dirty face of crypto currencies. To spread fear, as politicians, banks and some lawyers do is useless. On the other hand, to be silent, and to minimize the risk is a bit silly: we are in front of a new era where the work of forensic must support, and not only censor, the potentiality and power of new technologies, especially thinking about the 'bad' power of traditional Banks!
