China's Information and Industry Development Center (CCID) announced the ranking of cryptocurrencies on June 18. As usual, 37 popular cryptocurrencies have come forward, but this time there have been very few changes.
EOS and Tron Maintain Leadership
EOS is at the top with 156.1 points. Tron and Ethereum come after EOS (138.4 points and 136.4 points respectively).

Under the headings of basic technology, applicability and innovation, a ranking is created according to the total score. Ethereum is a leader in applicability and innovation, but lags behind EOS and Tron when it comes to technology.
However, the method behind the rating is still quite dark. Therefore, these scores should not be taken as suggestions.
For example, the core technology category includes the decentralization component, and EOS was dropped by Weiss Ratings as it increased centralization last year. However, it still got the highest score on the Chinese list.
Bitcoin and XRP Fall Behind
Bitcoin, the world's leading cryptocurrency, does not attract much attention from CCID and is currently in 12th place. It should be noted that Bitcoin is by far the leader when it comes to innovations (43 points). XRP, the fourth largest cryptocurrency in terms of market value, ranks 14th. IOST and LISK are in the 4th and 5th places.
