Cardano blockchain foundation has just stuck a new glory by drifting into the Korean gaming industry, all thanks to its commercial arm partner, EMURGO, who signed the new deal to give Cardano blockchain solution a wider adoption in Korea and beyond.
According to a press release published today, EMURGO, together with Korea Blockchain Contents Association (KBCCA) & Korea Mobile Game Association (KMGA), officially signed MoUs focused on exploring and integrating blockchain solutions offered by Cardano into government backed digital content and mobile gaming industries in South Korea.
In line with EMURGO’s mission, the deal allows the Cardano to get more adoption and also introduce more value to ADA holders.
Courtesy of EMURGO, Cardano would be making an unerasable presence in the world’s fourth largest gaming industry to spread the adoption of blockchain technology. As an addendum, both KBCCA & KMGA have been licensed by the Ministry of Science & ICT in South Korea to develop the local digital content and gaming industries of the country through partnerships.
EMURGO and Cardano, represented by CEO Ken Kodama, eulogized the collaboration as a great step in developing the content & mobile gaming industries with the nascent blockchain technology.
Ken Kodama stated, “with digital content & mobile gaming rising in popularity year after year, there is a huge untapped potential to implement blockchain-based solutions into these lucrative industries.”
Cardano’s third-generation blockchain solution is sure of getting major adoption boost through the collaboration as South Korea is presented as a country with high rate of smartphone ownership and online presence.
Reports identify that 9 of 10 South Korean own a smartphone, and their adults spend over 50% of their online presence on the country’s highly rated digital content platforms.
Sealing partnerships with governments and government backed organizations, Cardano is creating ineffaceable presence in places like China, Georgia and Ethiopia among others.
