House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has officially announced a formal impeachment inquiry into President Trump today, sending shockwaves across global markets.
According to a report by the Washington Post, Pelosi made the initial announcement while at a forum hosted by The Atlantic in response to a recent phone call made by Tump with the Ukrainian president in which he allegedly brought up investigating former vice president Joe Biden and his son.
“As soon as we have the facts, we’re ready. Now that we have the facts, we’re ready,” Pelosi said.
Trump released the full transcript of the call this morning and the revelation has seemingly shifted Pelosi’s thinking when it comes to a potential impeachment of the standing president.
As a result of the news, the world’s largest digital currency, Bitcoin (BTC), saw a major crash of more than 13% before recovering slightly. The drop aligned with technical descending triangle, fulfilling what many bears have been calling for the last few months.
