Many would assume that millennials and cryptos are the perfect match. I mean, millennials love everything new, that goes against old values, and cryptos seem to have been built for the "online generation". Plus, they offer an easy and quick investment alternative to the stock market, which is said that millennials don't trust.
Banking on this assumption, in 2019 a survey has shown that 66% of millennials have more faith in crypto than the stock market. Also, about 20% of the ones in this study have mentioned they had already invested in crypto currency before, while only 33% had made any sort of investment whatsoever.
The fact that most crypto investment can be made through mobile apps seems to have a great impact on the ease with which the younger generation choose to invest their money. We should also note that most stock trading platforms also started offering mobile apps, but this is a more recent development.
So, in a nutshell, cryptos seems to offer what the millennials are looking for, so I wouldn't be surprised if more and more of them actually choose to invest their money in this environment.
