Today we celebrate our birtyday as a company, it all started on September 27th 2017 NULS began it’s journey with it’s first step. Since then the team has taken huge strides to bring cutting edge technological products to customers & users from around the world. Today we would like to share with you where we are heading with our updated roadmap and take a look at where we have already been over the past 3 years.
A small step to a giant leap
Just 9 months after NULS was formed, the team moved away from its ERC20 placeholder blockchain to develop and launch its first blockchain with modular capabilities. Shortly afterwards the NULS light wallet was launched, a user friendly interface desktop & web wallet.
On July 8th 2019, NULS launched one of it’s many promised core products, NULS ChainBox. NULS ChainBox provides developers an out-of-the-box blockchain, using a quick-start engine. Build a blockchain in just minutes. Chains can then be customized for any purpose by selecting and deploying additional modules.
During 2019 the team continued to build and refine the core blockchain. On September 17th 2019, NULS Blockchain Version 2.0 was launched. The microservice-layer design of NULS makes it easy for developers to quickly create modules for anything. NULS now provides fluid, cost-effective, time-saving solutions for developers with minimum blockchain experience.
In late 2019 NULS launched POCM (Proof of Credit Mining) and with the launch introduced the SCO Platform that allows projects to use smart-contracts to issue and distribute project tokens on blockchains. Users could then stake NULS into a project’s nodes and earn their token as reward, while the project earns NULS as reward.
Since its inception, NULS has positioned itself as a global, open-source, decentralized community project and has always taken community-based operations as a critical core blockchain component. On November 1st, the NULS core team and technical community officially launched the community governance tool on the main-net.
Shortly afterwards the team unveiled NULS ChainFactory. ChainFactory is a user interface that allows developers to build a new chain or enhance an existing chain by automatically deploying modules selected from a warehouse of endless modular solutions.
Adapting to the ever changing crypto environment, The NULS technical community (NTC) began to support the development of a heterogeneous cross-chain project named Nerve. Founded by Mario Blacutt, Nerve is a decentralized digital asset service network based on the NULS micro-services framework, which uses the NULS ChainBox to develop a blockchain cross-chain interaction protocol. On July 10th 2020, NerveNetwork was launched & cross-chain staking was activated for users.
On September 4th 2020, development of NerveDEX was completed and launched. NerveDEX is based on NerveNetwork’s underlying chain asset transaction protocol. The entire process of asset transactions is completed on-chain. It is a safe, transparent and fair assets transaction platform.
We’ve completed a lot over the past three years, the NULS team has developed 3 blockchains in that time, launched multiple key user products, attained strategic partnerships as well as acquiring multiple projects to our ecosystem.
But we’re not done yet, our updated roadmap shows our path for the next year as we take the road to NULS 3.0. We’ve got some big goals, as well as some big surprises for our loyal NULS community followers.
