It's not a surprise to me and I believe to most of crypto enthusiasts that the world is becoming more sustainable thanks to Cryptocurrency, that for being decentralized with no interference from governments entities gave the community users the power to somehow free up themselves and becoming literally their own banks.
The Blockchaincenter site published a interesting article that nominee the 10 countries maximalist on BTC in the world and surprising facts is that Africa and Latin America have the countries with more maximalists on the asset, the duo have (4) nations each on the list!

As we can see in the Table, Africa have the leading country Kenya on the list and Latin America right on the second place with Brazil and the two continents also have South Africa, Nigeria and Morroco (African continent) and Chile, Ecuador and Argentina complete the Latin America list.
The two outsiders on the list belong to Europe continent with Germany and Poland, that are the most Bitcoin maximalists on the "Old continent".
Africa and Latin America aren't surprise to secure those places as Bitcoin maximalist, the two continents are mostly similar in their governments structure with a high rate of unemployment with people affected directly from social injustice, taking them to find sustainable alternative to their problems on crypto.
Bitcoin isn't controlled by government and this only it's a big catalyst to got embraced and adopted by people who no more put trust on authorities and prefer to hodl their money into assets that can, with time, earn profits or invest it to get more from it all without need to ask for government entities.
There's no trust on their governments and no money can be hold on Banks as this, aren't facilitate the people life, where is easy to deposit but when times come to cashout, despite high fees there's also other kinds of enquiry!
Bitcoin will continue to rise on Africa and Latin America and soon become hotspot in Cryptocurrency, just matter of time.
