Do repost and rate:

In the United Kingdom, the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) published a report on June 30 2020 estimating that 2.6 million people in the UK have at some point purchased cryptocurrency. Their research indicates that 1.9 million people which is 3.86% of the UK's adult population currently hold crypto. Last years FCA report found 1.5 million people, 3% of the adult population were holding.

An increase of only 0.86% may seem small but in regards to adoption rate it's considered significant. Bearing in mind 400,000 people have come to the space in the last year from just 'one small country'. Adoption is taking place globally, every country has seen a influx of new people coming to crypto since the last year. If a global survey was conducted, the result would be in the millions.

In general, holders have a technical knowledge of cryptocurrencies, understand its volatility, potential risks and are using it as a vehicle to create wealth in order to better their financial situation.

Aside from the increase of adoption, research shows that the industry awareness has also seen significant increase. 73% of the population have heard of cryptocurrency compared to 42% last year. The trend is also very much alike globally too.

Financial evolution is inevitable, it's just a matter of time...
