On August 5, a hearing was held in the case of 17-year-old Graham Clark, accused of large-scale hacking of Twitter. This is reported by the Tampa Bay Times.

The teenager was charged with 30 charges, including organized fraud, misuse of personal data and unauthorized access to other people's devices.

According to the special services, as a result of a hacker attack, the young man stole bitcoins worth about $120 thousand. If proven guilty, he could spend up to 200 years in prison.

Prior to the trial, Clarke informed the court through his lawyer that he was innocent. He is currently being held at the Hillsborough County jail in Florida.

The hacker's hearing was held in a video conference format via the Zoom service. The broadcast was publicly available, and no password was required to log in.

Under the guise of CNN and BBC journalists, prankers joined the broadcast. They interrupted the judge, used obscene language, and rapped.

After a porn video appeared on the General screen, the judge had to suspend the session.

During the conference, Graham Clark's lawyers asked the court to reduce the bail amount from $725 thousand to a more reasonable one, but the judge rejected the request, according to a journalist from the FOX 13 television station.
