For this Crypto Activist StakeHodling profile about: Ripple's XRP I'm doing something slightly different -- mostly because Ripple isn't really in my HodL allocations listed here -- but I do think it is important enough project to diversify into, even if it is only to transfer funds faster :)

The C.A.S.H. principles:

  • Crypto fundamentals & technical analysis
  • Adoption & User Experience
  • Staking (Token Value & Utility)
  • HodL positions & projections

... *Ahem* Let's get to it, shall we? ...

Crypto Fundamentals & Technical Analysis

A quick look at the fundamentals, at time of writing XRP's Market Capitalization is around USD$14.3 billion, ranking it 3rd on Coinmarketcap.com. Approximately 44,918,719,274 XRP are in circulation, out of a 100 billion hardcap -- the total supply 100 billion vs the max supply of 99 billion will matter more when max dilution has already taken place (which may spur a boon in adoption as the price will have plummeted).

It currently exchanges for USD$0.312 which currently is about 2,583 Sats [Satoshis - or 0.00002583 BTC] ?; the DEX with the highest trading volume, is currently BINANCE with USDT$195 million having been traded so far. Though the current CEO of the project is Brad Garlinghouse, one of the more recognizable faces, for me at least, would be of Ripple's CTO David Schwartz (one of the company's founding visionaries along side Arthur Britto, Chris Larson, Ryan Fugger & Jed McCaleb). ?

My research ends in a couple paragraphs, but yours can continue in depth with MuyAsk's step-by-step guides; the one for XRP is linked here.

By the time I heard about Ripple, back in the summer of 2017, XRP had already shot up to it's all-time high of USD$0.40 up from little more than half a penny in the short span of a month (April - May). ? I instantly wrote it off as a interesting tech and missed opportunity after hearing David Schwartz's early on protests that Ripple wasn't a Cryptocurrency at all; even though I saw it 10x half a year later ... my thought is ... huh, I bet there's some other investment that's so wow, much fun that could shoot up just as fast before getting dumped.

I want to admit: that I have about 33XRP earning 5% interest yes; when I first experienced the transaction speed in comparison to the bogged down, high fees of Bitcoin of that year ... I literally cried ... but no, I would rather invest in Dogecoin than Ripple.

Adoption & User Experience

Career opportunity links in the description below as always.

For those who think I'm missing the entire point of XRP and that it will inevitably moon soon -- instead of pointing out the depreciation of the US dollar vs actual increase in value of assets -- I'll just point you to Altcoin Daily's channel and ... end this line of thought.

On the topic of adoption, since my mindframe is investing in others & spreading wealth where mutually beneficial, I feel like XRP would be one of the easiest Crypto for me personally to start doing give aways with ... especially since Nexo & Crypto.com are doling out interest where competition is rather scarce on the asset.

I want to briefly touch on the XRP army -- because I know the feeling of superstition that sets in, when HodLing every penny in one pot, and hearing news that feels like it tanked the price  ... whelp ... now that I justified reasoning behind beligerant comments I've seen on forums & YouTube, I think I'll move on.

In summary: Concerning Adoption, there's literally an army of HodLers who love XRP (on some days more than others); the beautiful transaction times are the stuff of financial dreams

 ... moving on though ...

Staking (Token Value & Utility)

Besides Nexo, I know of few places that collateralize or even give interest on XRP. That and the massive amount of XRP locked up would look so much less daunting if there wasn't so much dumping into other asset classes.

All this is exciting, but what does this have to do with *you* the reader?

HodL Positions & Projections

Usually I'd give a statistic (typically found on Etherscan -- so I can't do it for XRP even if I wanted to). So I'll say: I hope to all things sacred XRP HodLers aren't bag holders, because I've seen them angry ...

... before I conclude, a quick question for XRP HodLers reading this: Are the rumors true? Is Ripple really trying to register as a publicy traded company and issue shares? I honestly get mixed results when searching.

Conclusion: My projections and goals are mostly captured here; but for entertainment purposes only, my honest opinion is that HodLing XRP at the current price will not contribute to making me a millionaire within the forseeable future (but I've missed out on XRP gains before, so obviously I'm not one to follow :)
