The U.S government want to pay more than $600,000 in cash to crack Monero network, and is accepting applications from anyone who can handle the task.
The government incentive people to take down the privacy from Monero network and is willing to pay money in order to people do illegal things, cracking a privacy Monero network, it's something new made by a government and shows inefficiency in handling that task. I am curious to see if someone apply and then crack Monero that network when he finish the Job and get that money how many laws that same person have broken, and the same Government, in the hand of Internal Revenue Service (IRS) will let them go!
That sounds like a trap that who only win is the Government, it will have it cracked and also they will know who his able to crack privacy networks. And that Bounty cash won't be nice after all.
But why they want to crack Monero!
There have been many ransomware and people laundering money using most Monero and that is waking worries by the U.S authorities who want to control and track this transactions in order to take penal actions against the criminals who commit those crimes, and that is something to take actions against but don't justify their try to corrupt people in order to crack that network.
That is evil from the government, and privacy networks have made for a purpose but if few criminals use it to mine, launder assets or other criminal activities doesn't mean all users are criminals.
