Why do I PDFN short for Play Dead For Now ?

Well it is a bright and sunny afternoon in my neck of the woods and yet I find myself writing this piece.

For the first time ever, I have received a dislike on my previous article.

And yet I find it fascinating that this person would not leave a comment if only I would be able to know what was the dislike all about.

Mind you I take no offence, as I know very well that no individual can please everybody. I will keep on writing anyway.

So you may be hoping to see some green back into the cryptocurrencies market after a very steep decline and after much thoughts and consideration, I am sticking to my ''Play Dead For Now'' strategy. And you may be asking why. My take on this is that while I may be missing out on some good deals, a free market does have a price.

And that price is High Volatility. For sure, it is fun to cash in on large profits, and that is exactly what the whales did, and this is exactly what they want you to do. For you to dish out more dollars and they will dump the BTC worse than an old pair of shoes, even the ones with no holes...

The collapse was signaled on the dark web and please do take a good hard look.

So I guess you get the picture..... meanwhile I do not hold BTC, but it doesn't make any difference as the entire cryptocurrencies took a severe nose dive.

My point is I refuse to DIP into this as it was a severe blow to many folks. Career trader Peter Brandt crafted a chart comparing Bitcoin’s current price action to historical precedent.

Brandt took to Twitter to ponder whether Bitcoin’s price action is similar to moments in 2018 and 2019 at the start of major periods of decline and stagnation. Shortly after posting the chart, Brandt said he has no plans to discuss crypto for about a month.

This is his quote :

“Through 46 years as a trader I have suffered through some tough trades. I know what it is like to worship at the Porcelain (sic) alter. I am not without feelings and will discontinue Tweeting about cryptos for a month or so knowing some of you are experiencing pain.”

His silence speaks volume to me and I trust a veteran trader of his caliber. So until the market settles down or up, I am sticking around with a watchful eye, nor buying or selling for the time being.

And I sure hope fellow readers that you have not been crushed in any way shape or form or by any means.

Be well and take care.
