CPU Mining isn’t profitable, and as bitcoin prices rise higher and higher, it almost never was. Unless you were one of the very first people to mine Bitcoin, CPU mining has never been profitable. Mining bitcoin with GPUs is definitely possible, but then electricity costs would be more than what they could mine. Bitcoin mining could also ruin GPUs pretty quickly if your fans aren’t turned on properly.
So today, the only proper way to mine bitcoin is to have an ASIC and a deal with a power company to make any money mining Bitcoin.
