The days awaited for the spark token in XRP are over. Registration of XRP wallets was received on 12.12.2020. The distribution of the Spark tokens will be done accordingly. So, how and when will Spark tokens be distributed?
The distribution will begin when Flare Networks, a platform that will give XRP the smart contract feature, goes live. This is not expected to happen before May 2021. Accordingly, the distribution of Spark tokens is not expected until May 2021.
When Flare Networks goes live, each account will receive 15 percent of the Spark they deserve. The remaining amounts will be distributed gradually over a period of 25-34 months, with a monthly distribution rate of 2% to 4%.
