Venture capital giant Andreessen Horowitz unveiled the details of its new Crypto Startup School on Friday and opened the application process.

According to the announcement, the free program will run for seven weeks at the a16z offices in Menlo Park, California from February 21 through April 3, and will include a number of investors from the crypto space.

“During the course of the program, you will learn about the fundamentals of blockchain technology and why it matters, applications and ideas for the future, as well as best practices for building a startup in the crypto space,” states the program’s webpage.

Coursework and lectures will focus on areas including crypto business models, economics, UX, product development and security.

Andreessen Horowitz previously launched a16z Crypto, a fund dedicated to investing in blockchain-related companies and tokens. The new fund has made several investments, including a notable purchase of 6% of MakerDAO’s (MKR) total supply last year.
