Satoshi gave us the solution to many power-oriented problems.
It's hard to believe that so few asked themselves what's the value of money or who are the people competent enough to rule the economy and finance. Those people directly influence our lives.
After a decade of watching cryptocurrencies work, we can feel pretty confident that blockchain and cryptocurrencies are the way to go.
Why is this the way to go?
Because the level of competence of those people handling and manipulating money gets irrelevant.
Moonboy Lambos
In the process of making crypto work, enthusiasts and intellectuals got quieter and not eloquent enough to make a difference.
At the same time, traders, scammers, and content creators got much, much louder. Talking exclusively about money, moons, and Lambos, they attracted (and keep attracting) many people in the industry without giving them basic knowledge.
When talking to other people about crypto, I always hear them talking about what Youtubers like MMcrypto, TheMoon, Davincij15, etc, said about a coin. They even take those YouTuber's opinions as strong arguments. Then I ask them if they listened to what people like Vitalik Buterin, Riccardo Spagni, Sergey Nazarov, or Colin Cantrell had to say on the topic, and most haven't even heard about those people. How many whitepapers did they read? More and more people I come across didn't even read Satoshi's whitepaper but want to gain 1000x profit investing in "that Bitcoin thing".
Scam shillers
On the other hand, some "devs" took their chance to over-promise and shill their under-developed projects forming a situation similar to the dot-com bubble. Many of those projects won't survive because they don't offer anything that brings value to an individual. Or they are simply an exit scam. Those "devs" are the terrorists of this industry!
Let's try to put things back on track by sharing knowledge.
