After the coordinated attack who affected several Twitter accounts and promoted giveaways to double users assets and with that earned almost $120,000 worth in Bitcoin, also before an preliminary results on the investigation to the incident happened in the social network seems that the team leaded by Jack Dorsey is restricting users to post messages containing Cryptocurrency addresses! When a user want to post a message containing string of numbers and letters a pop-up message show up with the following warning:
"This request looks like it might be automated, to protect our users from spam and other malicious activity, we can't complete this action right now. Please try again later".
They disabled that function to prevent more harm to people who could still fall somehow on those kind of scams on twitter when investigations still continue, and for now isn't sure if that will be effective forever or not, even the Whale-alert profile on twitter, the one who share suspicious and large transactions in reat-time, have been unable to share transactions with users on the social network but still doing that on their telegram channel on Telegram.
The anti-hack measure by Twitter still to be announced official as the team is working to investigate the issue from Wednesday 15 and for each update i will update to the community, this issue have already make an U.S senator to ask Jack Dorsey the CEO of Twitter for some serious explications about, that I will be release in my next post.
