Satoshi Nakamoto left the Bitcoin community pretty early.
While this was the best thing he could do for himself, the community craves for a leader.
Many tried to fulfill Satoshi's place, but nobody got close. Maybe I could give some credit to Vitalik that did a great innovation in blockchain tech, and every other eloquent dev, book writer, speaker, or content creator. Even some YouTubers got a lot of "loyal" audience. I don't feel the community considers any of them as leaders.
Is there someone to blame for lack of leadership?
Yes, there is.
Maybe, when we talk about crypto, leadership should be distributed.
Well, who are those people that should talk more? Anyone who understands the CORE concepts of crypto.
I blame early adopters for the situation we got in. They understood the concept pretty soon, mined coins with their CPUs, and got rich after a few years. After that, they left, as they don't feel they have the responsibility of showing the community the right way to go.
Why would they bother? They drive a Lambo and spend their days in wonderful places.
Early adopters should take part in this "distributed leadership". They have the responsibility to guide the community.
Showing off with jewelry and expensive cars means renouncing the great opportunity Satoshi gave us with this amazing technology.
Don't be amazed by money. Be amazed by value!
Even if I'm not one of the lucky ones that heard about Bitcoin in its early days, I write these articles to take a piece of the responsibility so I can help identify the right values again.
(Btw, for the lucky ones:

Anyway, lucky or not so much, some people are giving the best they can to get in that "lucky" realm. I'm talking about institutions.
Are we really going to let giant firms and corporations take the lead? Again?!
