June was by no means the most successful month for the cryptocurrency industry - cryptocurrency trading volumes decreased, and the web traffic of trading floors decreased by 14%.
A joint study of The Block and analytic firm SimilarWeb shows that the number of visitors to cryptocurrency exchange sites in June fell to a five-month low. In total, 98.1 million visits were recorded.
Binance remains the most popular and visited site - in June it was visited by 23.4 million people. COINBASE is the second most visited exchange with 19 million visitors. The top three closes the BITMEX cryptocurrency derivatives exchange, which was visited by 7 million people. Together, these three companies have attracted slightly more than half of the visitors to all cryptocurrency exchanges.
Least of all visitors in June were attracted by Korbit, BTSE and OKCOIN sites. In addition, traffic on BitMEX, Bittrex and Bitfinex sites last month decreased by more than 20% compared to May. Note that according to CryptoCompare, trading volumes on cryptocurrency exchanges significantly decreased in June, both on the derivatives and futures markets.
