We're just about five months after the third halving has occurred for Bitcoin, and although the global crisis, both social and financial, is still to be felt, Bitcoin seems to be paving its own way. I don't analyse charts too much but I remember that I've read a few days ago that it has already decoupled from the S&P 500 and my intuition tells me that in the future year or so it will decouple from any asset in this world.
2021 will be the year of Bitcoin and crypto no doubt, but besides knowing that the halving has already ignited the bull market of all times, I can tell that we're already ridding the bull, or at least taking it out of its enclosure, by the sentiment on all the social media platforms that I'm active on. The amount of bullishness, long term one, good news, and tech improvements related to crypto is boiling way stronger than it was for example in 2018, when everything was deflating. The most bullish event in 2018 was some sort of a crypto conference, or something like that, I don't even remember the name of it and where it was held that was supposed to take BTC to $14,000 but it didn't.
Now it's totally different, and it's still so early... I mean looking at charts on some cryptos in the top ten or so, all of them have such a long way of even reaching the previous all time highs, not to mention the future ones. For example, ETH is at $400 from its $1,400 peak, XRP is 14 times cheaper than it was in December 2017, LTC is just $58 having it's record of about $360... and so on. Just a few have got back to the 2017-2018 levels and some will probably even won't ever get there. At least I hope NXT doesn't, as it is my worst investment ever and a crappy project.
Most of them are still bargains, and the sales are still open. I know, you could have bought ETH at $90, LTC at $22, XRP at 11 cents and so on, but you really have to have guts and experience to buy when there's blood on the streets, especially yours. It's not late though, for sure, and many of them are still bargains, including our dear LEO.
Just to throw some amateur, intuition based predictions, I'd say that ETH will easily pass the $2,000 mark for its future ATHs, LTC will get at $1,000 no doubt(or I'll eat my dick as McAfee did), and BTC will for sure do at least a 3X from where it stands now. Hence there is still time, and the best time to be in crypto is yet to come.
Corrections will take place all the way up and it's natural for that to occur, and some consider them as great buying opportunities, but if I'd have more cash to invest in crypto I wouldn't wait for no damn correction. That's how I am. Over all though there's still time to load your bags, some of the coins out there are still bargains in my opinion and true gems, and the patient ones shall be rewarded, no doubt. You just need vision to envision.
I remember talking in early 2018 to a friend, that introduced me to crypto, and was telling him how much money we could have made if we'd bought IOTA for example at the beginning of 2017 when it was around 20 cents and sell it at its peak of $5. A hell lot of money. One thousand bucks invested in it would have bought me an apartment in this shit town. Haven't done that though, but at least I learned the game and I'll know for sure how to act next year. I will definitely not score the absolute peak, but I'm fine with the meat in between for sure.
Hence, the crypto bull party is just about to get started and I'm buying champagne already. Very very interesting times ahead. Not excited about everything that's going on around the world, but I'm eagerly waiting for 2021. Have a great weekend and massive profits for this bull market!
