As inflation moderates, some on Wall Street see a soft landing. But risks remain

Gloom has gone out of fashion on Surveillance. Talk of a soft landing is now in vogue.
JPMorgan Asset Management's Phil Camporeale is now "highly convicted" that the US is in a soft landing, and that the chance of recession has dropped to 25% from 40% in March. Brent Schutte of Northwestern Mutual Wealth Management believes the US will get a recession, but that it'll be "short and shallow."
