Storm times in crypto land

And in no time from nothing the garden turned into a whirlpool and digging needed to be done to rid of all the overflowing water. On the radar you could see it coming. But even then still, I sat and looked around what was going on. The temperature dropped rapidly and a small drip turned into water everywhere.

Isn’t this kind of like crypto space? You know something is going to happen. All the radars tell you stuff is in the making and still you want to refresh your pages to actively see what is going on?

Earlier in the week storm was also predicted, but only three drops fell and the rest was just a fart in the sky. This too happens in crypto space. All indicators say moves will be made, but in reality the 0.01 price changes with any volume don’t really make the blood pump any faster.

But at the moment it feels like we are on the verge of the hurricane season. All indicators are telling us movement, we are seeing movement. FOMO is in, lambo’s are reserved, twitter is exploding. I saw the line if I sell all my crapcoin-x now, I can pay off my mortgage in one time passing by, and the fear and greed index meter is set to extreme greed.

Will we all fall for the same pitfalls we fell in in 2017? That our bag of shady coins which pumped like crazy also died faster than slapping the average mosquito. That the greed took over and we never took any profits. That the profits which we made we all diversified into weirder coins.

I am doing my best to do better this time, but you never when sanity gets pushed over by hype and FOMO. In this way it is always better to listen to your own gut, instead of listening to others or get hyped in by others. I know a couple who always talk their trades through with each other. One the one hand this is an awesome thing because feedback makes you do less stupid stuff. On the other hand finance is something you have to feel good with yourself and set your own boundaries for yourself and keep them.

Trust no one and don’t believe the hype. Do more research than you would want and use the water from the storm, don’t drown in it
