The Rebellion Pre-sale is over and almost all of them were sold out. At the same time, the general sale will be out soon along with the release of the cards in December. It looks like there isn't much time until  will be removed from modern and it will be a huge shift in ranked battles. I have considered it but I will have to either adapt or move to Wilds.

Pre-sale Results

The Rebellion Pre-Sale reached its conclusion with an impressive 492,665 packs claimed by our dedicated community, comprising 441,819 purchased packs and 50,846 bonus packs.

results of the pre-sale are out and it looks like the entire supply did not completely sell out, but I think that was quite a few packs bought. I purchased 100 packs and got 5 packs as a bonus. However, it looks like there were quite a few people who collected the 10% or 15% bonus in the pre-sale. So I would have to say that the SPLINTERLANDS was a great success because most of the packs sold and everyone had a chance to buy-in during the pre-sale period.

General Sale

It's a little less than 2 weeks away from the general sale. Along with the start of the general sale, we should also be able to open our packs. At that time, I'll give myself a few days before deciding what should happen. It could include buying cards/packs or moving to modern.

Sneak Peeks

There are some cards that the Splinterlands has teased in sneak peek 1sneak peek 2 but I will focus more on the first sneak peek. I will talk about a few of the cards that I saw and some of my opinions. The first thing I want to talk about is the summoners because I thought that duo-element and duo-type summoners were combined. In the end, it looks like it wasn't the case so the balance is not as broken as I thought it would.

It looks like the duo-element summoners will not have abilities. Rather than giving a buff to your party or debuffing your opponent, you can use water and death together. It does make sense though so that it isn't completely overpowered. This opens up a lot of different strategies and I wonder how it will work out.

The duo-attribute summoners do look quite interesting. It will allow for more error because you can always switch around your chosen buff to help yourself out more.

This card is way too amazing when leveled up. Cleanse, tank heal, and lookout when it's level 4. I don't know if lookout prevents her from taking damage or not though. Either way, having both cleanse and tank heal will make this card very powerful at keeping your tank alive.

There are a few more cards and the abilities are great, but I didn't really feel that they were too overpowered. Attacking before the battle starts and attacking the monster in the 2nd position can both be quite helpful, but I felt that the other 3 cards taught me more about what was going on with Rebellion.

The Rebellion pre-sale was a success and the Rebellion card set is going to come out in less than 2 weeks. I haven't really decided how I will proceed but I do think that the sneak peeks into what the cards were like did teach me a few things. The summoners aren't as super overpowered as I thought because it's either duo-element or duo-type. I thought they would be mixed together and make things a lot harder but I guess they might do that for the legendary summoner. We still don't have enough information but at least I understand some of the new cards now.
