We have all been watching what will happen with Ripple (XRP) in the wake of the recent SEC troubles. Already we have seen several larger exchanges such as Coinbase, Bitstamp, and OKCOIN announce they will be delisting the coin.
What are you going to do with any XRP you might hold? I see a lot of people dumping it while they can and there has been talk about XRP holders dumping the coin to drive the price even lower in the hopes that they price will drop close to 10 cents.
I think the big question we have to ask is how much do we really care about the SEC and what they may or may not decide to do. There is a huge crypto market in Europe and Asia and I am pretty sure they could care less what the SEC does or says. But, do they have the power to keep the coin from going defunct?
Generally when the SEC goes after a token we see that token become defunct later on. So all we can really do is sit and wait to see what shakes out with the lawsuit. In the meantime will you be buying or selling XRP? Personally I might wait to see if it gets into the teens and maybe make a small purchase with the hopes it will be revived.
