Jaan Tallinn Skype co - founder holds most of his wealth in Crypto Currency
Jaan Tallinn is a Estonian engineer who was one of the co - founders of skype is holding majority of his wealth in Bitcoin and Ethereum.
In a interview given to Fortune Magazine Jaan revealed this information which was published on Friday.
The Estonian engineer donated 350 Ethereum and 50 Bitcoin to Uk based firm A.I Faculty in 2018 -2020
Since Skype was sold to ebay for around $2.6 billion in 2015 Tallin has not launched any new enterprises but has invested money in many.
One of them is Uk based firm Faculty A.I that focused on machine learning system which received digital assets from Tallin in two occasions.
As per report the firm hasn't sold any of it's Bitcoin and Ethereum holding received by Tallin yet.
Tallin's investment company Metaplanet holdings backed Faculty in the past and holds around 9% of its shares.
Tallin donated Faculty 50 Ethereum in January 2018 worth $434,000 at that time worth $160,000 Today.
In March, 2020 Tallin again gave 50 Bitcoin Gift which is worth $316,000 when received which surged to $816,000.
Since he holds most of his funds in Bitcoin and Ethereum it was really easy for him to invest the money that way.
