RollerCoin is an online, virtual Bitcoin mining game where you compete against other players to mine cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin and Ethereum. It takes the concept of real Bitcoin mining, but instead of the sophisticated Blockchain and processing algorithms, ROLLERCOIN lets you test your skills and play games to build your mining empire.
You’ll play fun and addictive mini-games to increase your mining power. The more powerful your miner is, the greater your pool share will be. You’ll play as though you were really mining: Every ten minutes a Bitcoin block is allocated and all active players get a piece of it. Your cut depends on your mining power. You’ll enjoy rewards regardless of how much time and effort you put into the game.
The end of Season 2 is just days away. This means that this is your last week to finish off those weekly quests and hopefully obtain ALL your free and/or paid rewards.
It’s no secret that the community wasn’t too thrilled with the changes to the Season 2 “Dark Star” Event Pass. Season 2 changed the weekly quests by requiring players to play the same 4 games over and over again for the entire week. Token Surfer, Cryptonoid, Astro Hamster, and finally Crypto Space Invaders. For 8 weeks this was my daily routine so I could earn that sweet sweet XP.
I was set on not purchasing the Season 2 Event Pass because of how expensive it was. The reality is the total price of the pass is actually 440 RLT. This is because of the newest and dumbest quest of spend 40 RLT per week was a requirement in order to complete the Weekly Quest.
Currently I’m at Level 14. I have completed every weekly quest except for the first 3 weeks. As of now I’ve spent 200 RLT. I’ve purchased 3 Galaxy boxes and spent the rest gambling on RLT Loot boxes. I actually gained back 83 RLT through the Loot boxes. I also received 20 RLT for the Level 11 season reward. So that actual 200 RLT has come down to 97 RLT. If I purchase the pass today then my total RLT spent this season would be 296.99 RLT.
Should I buy the Season Pass? Seeing the latest results in a poll that the RollerCoin team sent out on their official Telegram page may convince you to purchase the pass. At the time of this writing, only 518 players have voted that they received ALL the rewards for this season!
There are over 1.8 Million registered RollerCoin users. But how many of them are active? I’m going to guess that roughly 50,000 users are active… and out of that 50,000… perhaps 14,100 of them are active enough to join the RollerCoin Telegram… and less than 600 of those active members have the Level 15 miner…
It seems that the Season 2 Dark Star themed miners are going to be EXTREMELY rare!
In about 2 more months the RollerCoin team will be implementing the RollerCoin Marketplace and I can imagine that the Dark Star themed miners will be asking for a hefty price due to its rarity. If you’re invested in RollerCoin and you plan on being here for the long run then this is definitely something to consider.
Season 3 is just around the corner and it will be bringing some awesome new features to RollerCoin! There are so many exciting things on the horizon and I am more than excited for what’s to come.
