While the amount of Bitcoin tokenized on the Ethereum network surges to $1.3 billion, most argue that DeFi is most probably the biggest driving factor, not scaling. But the so called "Bitcoin Jesus" and BCH proponent Roger Ver thinks that this surge shows how much of a failure LN is..
It is estimated that around 118.000 units of tokenized BTC on the ETH network, valued at over $1.3 billion, most of it being wrapped bitcoin or wBTC. While DeFi yield farming is going mental in the last few months, the Lightning Network, which was supposed to solve BTC's scaling problems has about 100 times less usage.
Is this just an attack from a supporter of a rival coin or is it a justified comparison? The judges are yet to decide.. What do you think?
