Today is the first day of trying out the difficulty on level 7. Keep in mind that there are 30 levels to the difficulty system, and I was only on 4 a few days ago. I didn't think you'd be able to tell a difference but you can totally feel it.

I have noticed that during combat it takes a lot more reps of a certain exercise to perform the same amount of damage. They spread the damage out evenly among the reps, depending on how many it is asking you to do. So the damage stays the same, but the effort out into it is increased. 

It is a unique mechanic to add to the game to keep you exercising harder but to not give you a power creep in the actual game. For instance, if you did more extreme exercises you would do more damage or something along those lines. I feel like if that type of mechanic were in the game it would give fitness experts the bullet hand. 

As for today, we worked on squatting. And I mean A LOT of squatting. So much so that I actually hit 1000 reps of squats and got a special message for doing so. I can say that after finishing today's workout I do certainly feel like a master of squats. 

 

I am hoping to reach more milestones for other exercises in the future. I would like to be able to capture more screenshots like this and make a collection! It would be a fun way to see the progress I am making. 

Let's see what all I did for today's workout and where it puts me in my overall totals.
