Ripple definitely isn't as popular as bitcoin, but its actually the 6th biggest cryptocurrency by market cap. Ripple can now be spent in over 180 countries worldwide, but it is primarily used as a token to facilitate cross-border currency transfers through the Ripple network.
Ripple is a good investmena because of its huge potential to grow. It's low price makes is a great investment opportunity, and can be used as a token for fast transfers and super low fees.
For example, if MrBeast wanted to send $1000 in USD to someone in the UK, this would involve going to the bank. At the bank, you would have to fill out various forms, pay a $20 fee, and could take up to 3 days for the transfer to go through. But if MrBeast had Ripple, it would've been alot easier.
Instead, the processing takes place in the ripple network, which takes less than 10 seconds, and cost a minimal fee of $0.01. Ripple has tremendous scalability, being able to process 1500 transactions per second, over a thousand times faster than Bitcoin.
