Today will be no different. ROADMAP 2021!
The update to the roadmap is sure to meet expectations for a project that is making steady progress. If you're like me, you have been keeping track of the different small caps that are primed to make the leap and Rapids Network is at the top of the list.
Steady and Growing
One of the key indicators in any project that everyone has access to rapidly is the roadmap. This document will give the vision, lay out the the milestones, and many other inputs into the activities of the project.
Rapids just released an update to their previous Roadmap. Now we are looking at the Roadmap for 2021.
Overall, this is very exciting news and just from the project's social announcement you can see a couple key indicators that progress continues.

Let's look at these in a little more detail.
First, while it's not on the advertised or bulleted list for the roadmap is worth noting that the Q1 2021 goal on the road map is the ability to use the Rapids wallet for payment at nearly 40 vendors. This is great and you can do it in conjunction with another option as well.
While I have not tried it personally, RPD is available to use with Polis Pay. I used to say it was similar to Bitrefill but is much more. There is a crypto backed Visa card as well as the opportunity to purchase a variety of gift cards, which give the user more coverage and payment opportunities via crypto.

Throughout 2021 we'll be developing a streaming platform dedicated to gamers, allowing them to Broadcast to and earn revenue from their audiences.
Creation of RPDX (NFT)
Rapids token specifically developed to function as an NFT tethered to the price of RPD.
RPD 1 Billion Burn
At the end of the year the network will be hosting another live burn event of 1 Billion RPD
Masternode Governance
Masternode governance will be integrated into the Rapids blockchain allowing masternode holders to vote as a whole and make decisions alongside the rapids team.
My 2 RPD on Rapids Network 2021
When I first came across the Rapids Network, as I have written in other posts, there was just something about the project that was very inviting.
Whether it is the active community on Telegram that is constantly engaging in trivia, the gaming community that is connecting on different levels, the opportunities to stake and develop passive income through Rapids.host, or even go as far as running a master node, there is really quite a bit happening.
Label 2020 however you want, I am looking at 2021 with some real excitement to see the opportunities right in front of us. It looks like Rapids Network is doing the same!
