Someone that is new to the space may learn their own do's and don'ts but here were my simple ones in the early going:
Do's
- Get a wallet
- Set aside time to learn about new tokens
- If capable, put $100 into assets (I did $50 into BTC and $50 into an Altcoins)
- Take advantage of free coin earning opportunities that are legitimate and Coin Earning opportunities
- Staking and interest earning without high fees is awesome
Don'ts
- Stay away from COINBASE Wallet
- Overspend on volatile tokens. What goes up must come down.
- Send or receive tokens from untrusted sources
- Run away from high fees like your life depends on it
