For the past few months, Polkadot has been on my radar. I have been observing the price continuously wishing for it to come down. I have to say that Polkadot is one of the best investments that I have ever made in crypto.
Of course, my first investment in BTC turned out very well 3 years back where I made a 100% profit but Polkadot is something else according to me. The full potential of the coin is still not known.
I have been observing it for a few months and one of the interesting things that I see is the market cap. It is almost in Rank 4 right now and today a few minutes back when I checked the price also hit an ATH of 17 dollars.
I have an interesting story to share. I'm not sure if I had shared this story in my previous articles as well but definitely worth repeating. I have a good friend in the real world who just started with cryptocurrencies a few months back. He did lots of analysis and studying and boldly said the game on BTC and ETH is over.
As he said, he did not have any holdings on BTC or ETH. But I don't know what made him think like that but he sold his car, pledged his house and gold that he had, and converted everything into crypto. I was wondering what he was going to invest in.
He heard about Polkadot and he told it is going to be the future and started investing in that. He bought around 10000 Polkadot when the price was 3.75$. He believed in that so much and took a huge risk.
Today after seeing this price, I feel proud of his decision. Today he has almost made 5X. He has now decided to sell off the tokens equivalent to his initial investment and take that money back to his real life. Even if he does that he would have lots of money still giving him passive income every day.
The price of Polkadot is not going to stop at 20$. According to his theories, it is expected that the price would easily reach 100 dollars in short term and might even reach beyond 500 dollars in the long term. I'm not fully sure about the potential of Polkadot. But, they call it an Ethereum killer.
I'm glad that I listened to his words and invested a little when the price was 5 dollars and again when the price was 10 dollars. I wish I had invested more when the price was 5 $. I don't think it would go back to 5 dollars once again. When they say it is going to be Ethereum killer, I guess the current price itself is a decent price to get started.
