There is a chance I am reading the market wrong, but overnight I finally crossed the line and can say that I have more than recovered from the September crash that has haunted me ever since.
After an overnight surge in Yearn Finance I am now holding more than my original investment fund in stablecoin alone (staking at various rates across COINBASE and Celsius) and have plenty of change to spare.
This means I have now achieved the point where whatever happens in the crypto market PROFIT is more or less guaranteed.
You may ask why I am saying more or less?
It's really quite simple. I am still haunted by the words of one commentator who said in the midst of the September crash 'just buy the dip' Unfortunately at the time funds were tied up in failing currencies (especially Cosmos which only in the last 7 days has finally exceeded the August highs) so I had no funds to invest in the dip.
This time round I am in a completely different position. Hodling in stablecoin will never release great profits, but thanks to Celsius at least it is staking at a greater than inflationary rate so it is growing in real terms. But of greater significance I am now holding a vast amount of stablecoin that is poised to buy the next dip.
In a nutshell this is the major difference
I spent January predicting a storm and it never materialised, but what is clear is that a massive bubble is forming and it is question of when and not if. Such constant growth is unsustainable even if whales are driving the growth, especially of BitCoin at this moment in time. There has to be a correction at some point,
I could be reading it wrong but in the mean time I am holding and waiting in the comfort that in stablecoin I am both above the line and now have the resources to invest large when the correction comes.
In addition I also have equivalent to another 10% of my portfolio value that I can take greater risks with to drive greater growth without affecting my overall profit and underlying growth.
It may be wintry and -8c outside today but the sun is certainly shining on my Crypto portfolio.
