PayPal is not considering purchasing the purchase of cryptocurrencies, such as bitcoin and other tokens. This statement was made by the financial director of the payment giant John Rainey in an interview with CNBC, writes Reuters.
"We are not going to invest the corporation's funds in such financial assets, but we want to benefit from the opportunity for growth," the top manager explained.
Earlier, analysts at RBC Capital Markets called on Apple to buy bitcoin and launch a crypto exchange.
In February, representatives of 6917 different companies participated in the "Bitcoin for Corporations" program of the analytical software provider MicroStrategy.
