- In response some projects used their smart contracts to freeze the hackers funds or even reverse them... making us wonder how decentralized these projects really are. Spooky!
- The US Justice department is charging Bitmex with violating The Bank Secrecy Act and is charging them with violating financial laws. Bitmex is now also implementing mandatory KYC.
- The IRS has rewarded chain analysis for cracking Monero's privacy network. Terrifying!
- Salt tokens are now being regarded as securities.
