Decrypting this tweet, some people rushed to download Signal messaging app while some other rushed to buy the stocks of a small medical device company named Signal Advances, sending its prices 4x in a single day.
This month Elon Musk's tweet pointed to another private messaging app called Session:
This time people took little time to decipher it as it took about a week to take the price of OXEN from half a dollar to $1.71. May be, people were waiting for the Year of the Bull to begin. But do note that bull and ox ain't the same. ??
Session is a fully decentralized dApp that runs on the Oxen Service Node network. Oxen was called Loki until a few weeks back. Yes, OXEN is quite a low-key project though with current $60 million market cap, I'd put it in mid-cap range.
Today, its prices started receding and OXEN is down by 20%.
I feel, if Musk was really talking about OXEN, its prices could have moved many folds. Imho, this was a way better project than his darling DOGE. Probably, his tweet was too cryptic and most people couldn't get it.
Also, there is a doubt, why would he recommend another messaging app within a span of one month. This would make him fickle minded and doesn't go well with his image. So it's good to see OXEN prices normalizing again.
