Noise.Cash - Is it really worth it?

Do repost and rate:

A lot of my recent articles here on PUBLISH0X have been NFT based and not real in depth articles that I felt like got me my followers originally here at Publish0x. So I wanted to get back to that detailed article approach and give my readers actual helpful information and not just always post free NFT's. :)

I started at Publish0x back in January of 2020. So I have been here for over a year and it's been great. I have written a lot of articles and I enjoyed doing the research for a lot of them too because I learned a lot along the way. I have mined numerous coins, staked a lot and collected from too many faucets to remember. To say I have been around the 'Crypto-Block' would be an understatement. I am not an expert but I have experienced a lot. There was a few other websites brought to my attention over the course of the last year that I never gave a chance because I told myself that I am loyal to Publish0x and it was where I was going to spend my time writing to earn Crypto. I was misguided.

About a week ago someone (I think Crackers) left me a comment on one of NFT articles saying that I should get on this website called Noise.Cash. The name was familiar to me but I wasn't to familiar with the website. I decided I would give it a try and see what it was like. I was told that if Publish0x and Twitter had a baby it would be Noise.Cash. That peeked my interests so I signed up and gave it a try.

I was very fortunate enough to have a few fellow Publish0x readers on Noise.Cash that put a good work out to their followers to follow me. So after about a week I am sitting at 37 followers. Which I think is great.

What is Noise.Cash?

In order to truly understand what Noise.Cash is you need a basic understanding of Read.Cash. So READ.CASH is a crypto blogging platform like Publish0x but instead of rotating crypto to tip with you are using Bitcoin Cash.

Read.Cash owners wanted to make a twitter & Read.Cash baby so they created Noise.Cash where you can write much shorter 'articles' and create 'noise' with them. So in Noise.Cash you are posting short messages (or some post long) and images or videos or URL links. It truly is just like Twitter. It is free to sign up and get started. You will need your own Bitcoin Cash wallet so that your tips have someplace to go. I use my Trust Wallet BCH address.

How do I use Noise.Cash?

Once you sign up and have an account you can start writing messages. The toolbar at the top is very simple and straight forward. You have Subscriptions, Chambers, Explore and Search.

Subscriptions will show you posts from everyone you follow.

Chambers are groups or almost like subreddits for dedicated topics. You can tag one of your posts to a specific Chamber and anyone who follows that Chamber will see your post, and like wise you get get notified from certain Chambers that interest you. It is almost like an RSS Feed.

We even have a Publish0x Chamber with 69 followers :)

Explore tab will give you a personalized view of posts that it thinks you will like. It's a cool way to find new authors to follow.

Search is merely a tool used to search for people or topics.

How do I earn crypto?

This is the easy part. There are 2 ways to earn BCH at Noise.Cash. You can either get tipped or give tips. When you come across a post you like there will be a little dollar sign logo in the bottom right. It may say $0.00 or it may have a amount listed already. Say I wanted to tip this post by "TheSnarfy". I would click on the $0.07 in my red box here.

That would bring up this little popup window. At the top you will see "Tips" with some avatars. That is people who already tipped the post. I am going to click on the "FreeTips" in the bottom left corner.

That will change the window to look something like this. I have $0.37 of tips to give away so I am going to select the $0.10 option. And like Publish0x you decide what percentage to give the author and what percentage to keep to yourself. You can keep up to 80%. But be careful the Noise.Cash team has stated that if you abuse the tipping and constantly keep all the tips you may not receive as much going forward. So be generous. I flucuate between 100% to author and 60% to author. Now click on "Send".

The little popup window will go away and you will see where there was originally the $0.07 is now $0.11 because I gave a tip of $0.04 and kept $0.06 of the $0.10 tip. It is that easy.

Throughout the day you will get notifications that you have received more free tips to give away. They accumulate and you can give out at your leisure. I can get $0.50 of free tips today and save them all and tomorrow have around $1.00 to give away as I see fit. It is a nice change to the way Publish0x handles tips. I am not knocking Publish0x but just pointing it out.

You can see next to my username the bell is lit up red meaning I have a new notification and if I check it, the notification is that I have more free tips to give away.

You will also get notified if someone responds to your posts or if someone leaves you a tip. The notification system is better at Noise.Cash than at Publish0x because if I write an article and someone posts a comment here I would never know unless I got look at my article. I only get notified if someone responds to an comment I made already. Where as at Noise.Cash I get notified about everything.

Now don't get the idea I am leaving Publish0x for Noise.Cash because well I am writing this article on Publish0x for one! :) But secondly they serve different purposes. If I wanted to post a picture here at Publish0x I would have to write an article, get a Cover Image, pick a Blog to publish it to and I could only do that twice a day. At Noise.Cash I can post as much as I want.

The other thing is that the amount of tips I can give out is basically limitless and the amount I can receive is basically limitless. I am sitting at around $6.00 of BCH just from tips in a week at Noise.Cash.

I almost forgot the best part... The tips I receive are instant. They go directly into my Trust Wallet and I can see them all there instantly. I don't have to wait for a certain amount to withdraw, I get my tips right away. Also here at Publish0x the only people that can make decent money is authors. As just a reader you can only make so much giving out your 5 tips a day. At Noise.Cash everyone is a author and a reader. It's a fresh take on the balance. You can never post anything but still get free tips to give away. Or you can post things and also receive tips as well.

I have learned it is much easier for me to post images of my new upcoming NFT's over there. I can post the URLs to the drops there at anytime and give my followers more updates on what I am making next or get ideas from fellow NFT nerds like me.

There are only a few rules over at Noise.Cash and you HAVE to follow them. If you try to post something about tipping it won't let you stating your need to follow the rules. That one rule has stopped me from writing a few things that didn't have to do with tipping but you just reword your post and your good to go.
