My Passive Income sources for 2022.

Hi everyone, in this blog post I'll be writing about the sources I'll be using to get passive income in 2022.

Everyone wants it, earning money without having to work for it. This often isn't really the case with passive income. You'll need to put in some work to get and keep your source of income running. I'm not a business man, I'm just a student, so I don't have a business or something like that, but I do have some sources from which I get passive income.

Stock Market:

My stock market investments are currently the biggest in my total portfolio. These generate passive income in the form of capital gains (stocks and ETF's going up) and dividends. You don't always make money by trading stocks, and I haven't sold any of my stocks yet so I only have unrealized capital gains which can just as easily disappear as they have come. Dividends, however, are payments from the companies you invested in that you get just for having stocks. I haven't been in the stock market for long enough to have made significant amounts of money off dividends, and my main investment (a S&P 500 ETF) automatically reinvests dividends. Even though this is my biggest investment, I haven't made that much money with it yet, but that will come. The stock market is known for its slower, but more stable gains.

Crypto Staking:

All the crypto I have right now is staked. I don't like to just buy crypto and leave it there (especially when the market is going down) without making any money/crypto on it. I'm in it for the long run, so this must sound a bit weird, but it is what it is. Since I don't plan on selling quickly or day-trading, it doesn't make sense for me to miss out on some rewards I can get for locking up some of my coins for a couple of months. My best crypto 'trades' are still the ones I've made with AXS. Honestly, I didn't really buy in at the best times, but I trust that in the future it will still go up and it won't matter that much in the end as I'm earning around 27% on my initial investment (in AXS, not in dollars or euro's) over the span of 3 months. I've also locked up my ADA for 3 months at an APY rate of about 10%. These assets are kept in my BINANCE account. My 'bluechip crypto's', Bitcoin and Ethereum, are being staked at Blockfi at APY's of 4.5% and 5% respectively.

If you want to buy/sell/save/stake/do a lot more stuff with cryptocurrencies, you can start doing this by signing up for Binance via this link and earn 10% commission on your own trades: https://accounts.binance.me/en/register?ref=IEBG5DEA or use referral code IEBG5DEA.

If you just want to buy/sell/stake your cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and BAT, sign up for Blockfi by using this link: https://blockfi.com/?ref=b35df5a3 and get $10 worth of free Bitcoin when you deposit your first $100 or more onto the platform.

Brave Browser:

Since 2 months I've been using the BRAVE Browser on my laptop. The Brave Browser blocks ads, trackers and cookies and shows you a small selection of ads that they select (I haven't personally noticed an advertention yet though) and then rewards you for the ads you've watched. You can choose yourself how often you want to view ads and you'll earn around 0.005 BAT per advertention. I earn around 1.1 BAT per month for not having ads, cookies and trackers, so it's a double win. You lose the irritating ads and regain a lot of your privacy on the internet while earning crypto for it. Your rewards are paid out monthly. When I get my rewards, I instantly transfer them to my Blockfi account where I get an extra 1% APY on them. Marginal gains FTW!

Cloudmining:

Cloudmining is when you connect a device (smartphone/laptop/...) to a mining pool and then get rewarded a bit of the crypto that the mining pool mines. I use the Stormgain app on my smartphone for this. You just have to activate the miner every 4 hours to get a standard rate of 0.0000108 Btc/day. By using this link (app.stormgain.com/friend/BNS67566493) to register you'll get $3 worth of free Bitcoin to start off your cloudmining story.

Crypto Faucets:

Crypto faucets are actually the most time-intensive passive income sources that I use. I have made a blog about them in which I wrote that I used 3 different faucets, but this number has gone down to 1. I like to use the 'Freebitcoin' website where you can draw a number between 0 and 10000 each hour and you'll get at least 0.00000004 BTC but the higher your drawn number, the higher the amount of Bitcoin you'll earn. You can then bet your Bitcoin on sports events and crypto prices, wager them in a HI/LO game, convert them into lottery tickets (the lottery has a jackpot of around 0.1 BTC) and more.

If you want to use the Freebitcoin faucet, use this link to register: https://freebitco.in/?r=48255368 . Because the referral program doesn't automatically give a welcoming gift to new users, I'll make sure to share some Bitcoin with my referrals from time to time.

These are my passive income streams for 2022. I hope you've learned something and will start to make some of that sweet passive income yourself. I wish you all the best and a good 2022.
