Decentralized film financing platform Mogul integrates Chainlink (LINK) oracles in its v1 release to ensure transparency of profits distribution.
By using Chainlink, Mogul will be able to bring real-world data to its blockchain-based solution. The platform can verifiably integrate movie budget and profitability data, its users can receive audited, fair market dividends for their film investments. This will all take place in a more accurate and transparent way than ever available, creating an opportunity for anyone to contribute to a film’s production and receive proportional dividends from its success.
Mogul's integration with Chainlink (LINK) will go live in a v1 release of Mogul's software. The main rationales behind the new collaboration include the disbursement of audited, fair-market dividends between investors and correct ETH/USDC price quotations for USD-denominated payouts.
Mogul aims to enable users to vote and distribute rewards with STARS tokens. In addition, they developed an in-app payment system for their operations.
Seasoned producer David Cormican, Mogul Productions' cofounder, stresses that the new integration will allow for the reconsideration of film funding avoiding trade-offs in terms of user experience for investors and artists:
